3. Human Rights, Social Justice and Good Governance
Volunteers are working actively with local grassroots human rights organisations to promote human rights, social justice, good governance, democracy and the rule of law.
a. Nature of Work: Education and advocacy campaigns in issues like civil and political rights, socio-economic and cultural rights, extra-judicial executions, public accountability, terrorism, administration of justice, crimes against humanity, children’s rights, capital punishment and assisting victims of rights violations among others. b. Participants are students and practitioners of law, social, history, culture, international, economics and related studies, human rights activists, advocates, lawyers, public educators, media; and related disciplines or interests.

4. Wildlife Volunteering
Many animals face threatened by expanding human population and settlement, poaching and game-sports. The volunteer works with wild animals' project to share our passion for wildlife and its conservation. If you are charmed by those slimy, slithery creatures called snakes, then this is the right place for you. Of 2790 species of Snake species in the world, over 40 of them are reared here. Snake are our best friends as they clear rodents, provide anti-venom drug, offer opportunity for reptile research study and attracts local and foreign tourists. A few crocodiles are also resident.
a. Nature of Work:Feeding reptiles, daily hunting for food, guiding students groups, tourists, construction and maintenance of cages, search for new reptiles for breeding, general reptile care and study.

5. Teaching Projects
Teaching is among our most popular on gap year project, and helps to impart elementary knowledge to local children.
The children include little ones in kindergartens, pres-unit, nursery and upper elementary level. This is a good opportunity to interact with pupils, teachers and local people, while sampling the Kenya culture.
a. Nature of Work: Teach english, mathematics, history, sciences, geography, social, art and music. Take part in sporting activities, participate in expedition tours, or even cook lunch for the children.

7. Emergences, Disaster Relief and Social Work
Join an international organisation working to alleviate human suffering socially, psychologically and emotionally through provision of life-support mechanism in disaster hit and hardship areas.
a. Nature of Work:Providing relief to people affected by natural calamities like floods, war, blasts, accidents and disease outbreaks. Help in family tracing services, coordinate blood donations, emergency preparedness training, public health education, and water provision for the local people.

8. Construction Wokcamps (2-20 Volunteers)
Our group construction workcamp will help provide decent housing to children, medical access facilities, create learning space and secure a place for public meetings in orphanage, hospitals, community hospitals, schools and social halls respectively at in selected regions.

9. Medical Care
Assisting with patient's registration, examination, treatments, testing, injection, vaccinating, drug prescription, imaging services, counseling, maternity deliveries, emergency services, nursing the patients, and supporting in general and pediatric wards.
a.Nature of Work:
Treatment services in pediatrics wards, out and in-patients services, laboratory services, obstetrical and gynecological, wards for male and female, maternity, dental, eye-ear-nose clinics and post-mortem. Others are; special medical clinics for diabetes, hypertension, asthma, cardiac, HIV/Aids testing and counseling services.
b. General Requirement: Anyone interested to serve in a Kenyan Medical or Health Workcamp /Project MUST bring along a recommendation letter from his/her University, institution or employer.

10. Dental Service
Kenya's few dental clinics are abuzz with children, youth and adults seeking treatment for teeth and gums problems. At this busy hospital dental clinic which is receiving over 200 patients with teeth problems daily, the dentists and nurses are overwhelmed by the high number of patients. This is a fantastic opportunity for students of dentistry, dental surgeons and specialists - to gain practical experience, while promoting health. You will join a team of clinic staff working under a supervisor.
a.Nature of Work: Help with dental care, correction, surgical, medical work [anesthesia, x-rays, extraction of teeth, filling, fitting dentures, surgery of mouth, replacement of extracted teeth through surgery, cleaning teeth, aligning and straightening teeth, educating patients about ways to preserve healthy teeth], and public education outreach.

11. Farm Work

12. Development and Women Causes
Help with a grassroots project working to help community to reduce poverty in order to achieve social and economic justice for local people, through advocacy for better policies that up-hold human rights and promotion of basic services. You will also work with a partner women group championing girl child and women causes.

13. Troubled Girls Safe-House
In local communities, venerable young girls are forcefully circumcised and married off by parents in return for livestock. This situation denies them access to education, and right to self determination. However, a local group is now rescuing the affected girls from these harmful traditional practices; and putting them in a haven – to pursue another life.

17. Disabled Children/ Special Education
If you are patient, loving, kind-hearted, and like helping others, then this is the perfect project for you. The disabled/special education children of Kenya need help in raising their comprehension levels. The age of children you'll teach and help of range from 5 to 20 years; all deaf and hearing-impaired. You'll show them compassion, care, and offer them hope. The of the tasks involved with teaching or caring for the disabled are not always easy or fast, but they are also much more rewarding.
a. Nature of Work: The volunteers can assist with educational and social rehabilitation efforts. Activities include; teaching basic subjects, instructions, sports and physical education. Others are cooking, cleaning and administrative roles.
